The event is billed as a celebration of the dogs of Fanwood and the people who love them. Fan Woof Day has become an annual community tradition, with past editions featuring music, a splash area for pets and children, a canine-safety table, a pet caricaturist, library activities, a pet-adoption component and a dog costume parade.

Fan Woof Day Returns to Fanwood October 4
Fanwood will celebrate its four-legged residents at Fan Woof Day on Sunday, October 4, from 10 a.m. to noon at the North Side Train Station, 238 North Ave.
